Why Manchester?

Manchester is a welcoming city and it is known for its warming and outgoing locals! Manchester is also a booming student city and attracts thousands of international students every year. The University of Manchester (UoM) is part of the prestigious Russell Group of universities and it offers wolf class facilities to support many degree programmes. Besides UoM, Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) and Salford Univerity are also well respected.
The cost of living is surprisingly affordable despite it being the third-largest city in England. The Intu Trafford Centre is the largest shopping malls in Greater Manchester followed by the Arndale shopping centre, which is located in the city centre. Besides this, the Northern Quarters is a place for vintage and cafe lovers where you get to find many vintage boutiques and cafes to chill with your friends over the weekends. There is also a Chinatown near the city centre and it is known as the second-largest Chinatown in the United Kingdom.
Manchester is a very walkable city and this helps to save up a lot on public transports. Peak district and lake district are also within easy reach. These places are known and loved by many for its breath-taking views, bustling market towns and pretty villages. Many students love to hike at these places during the weekends.
